School Readiness means that children are ready for schools, families are ready to support their children's learning, and schools are ready for children.

preschool scholarships

The Saginaw County Great Start Collaborative (GSC) is committed to high quality, early childhood initiatives, including the benefits of two years of preschool education with a high quality provider. Research shows that high quality preschool greatly increases the rate of school success for children, particularly at-risk children. In addition to school success, studies like the High Scope Perry Preschool Project and the Abecedarian Project demonstrate the long-term impacts of high quality, early childhood education, including , improved economic growth and development.
