Childcare Provider overview
State-Licensed Programs: Child Care and Preschool Centers - These provide early learning and care in a licensed center-based setting with rooms or multiple classrooms, including child care, preschool, Head Start and Great Start Readiness programs.
Group Child Care Homes: These provide early learning and care in a licensed home-based setting for up to 12 children.
Family Child Care Homes: These provide early learning and care for up to six children in a registered home-based setting.
Unlicensed Providers: Are adults (at least 18 years old) enrolled by the Child Development and Care Program within the Michigan Department of Education, Office of Great Start to care for up to four children at the same time, either where the children/child lives or in the provider's home. If care is delivered in the provider's home, the provider must be related to the children/child by blood, marriage or adoption.

Owner, Genise Weston, says she loves working with the little ones and watching them grow and learn new things. Zay’s Playhouse offers quality service to families. Parents know when they drop their children off, they’ll have fun! Zay’s Playhouse offers a curriculum and take home activities.
Zay’s Playhouse is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m and serves children 6 months to 8 years old. They also serve children with allergies, food allergies, asthma and autism. Genise can be reached at 989-792-4566.
