math in the mail

develop MATH skills in three-year olds.

overview

Math in the Mail focuses on developing mathematical skills in three-year-old children by providing the tools needed in the home environment for parents, guardians, and other caregivers.

The program is FREE to those who qualify.** Math in the Mail is also available by subscription to those who don't meet the qualification guidelines for the free program.
Families enrolled in the Math in the Mail program receive a kit in the mail, 6 times per year (approx. every 8 weeks), which contains materials, resources, and instructions for several age-appropriate math activities.
Our target population is three-year-old children in Michigan’s Great Lakes Bay Region, which encompasses Arenac, Bay, Clare, Gladwin, Gratiot, Isabella, Midland, and Saginaw counties.
By enhancing pre-school aged children’s mathematical understanding and confidence, the Math in the Mail program is key to providing the foundational mathematics knowledge essential to children experiencing success in future STEM related content and careers.

Parents can sign up by email, on their website, and on their free app. Whether it’s flamingos, ninjas or pillow forts, kids can see the math in their favorite topics. No logins. No drilling. No scores. It takes only 5 minutes a day, and kids clamor for it.
